Now that winter is in full swing and I’m missing going out to brunch at all of the lovely restaurants here in Chicago, I’ve been thinking of ways to bring the brunch experience to my own home. Since I’m a sucker for the holidays, I decided to concoct a tasty holiday cocktail and share the recipe here. Please enjoy my take on a holiday screwdriver!
To create my Seasonal Screwdriver, I started with Evolution Fresh Organic Defense Up juice. I’ve always loved Evolution Fresh, but given the cold temperatures in Chicago, I’ve recently become obsessed with this Vitamin C-boosting juice. Supporting your immune system has never been more important and drinking Evolution Fresh Organic Defense Up makes me feel healthy and refreshed.
Next, I added in Evolution Fresh Organic Vital Berry. The vibrant blend of berries is a perfect complement to the bold flavors in Defense Up, and Vital Berry is also packed with Vitamin C. If I’m drinking, I want to make sure I’m adding health benefits to my cocktail!
Once I added in my juice, I poured in the most essential component of the screwdriver: the vodka! I chose a raspberry-flavored vodka that tastes delicious with the Evolution Fresh juices. To brighten everything up, I added in a squeeze of orange and some pomegranate seeds. Finally, to complete the festive look of the Seasonal Screwdriver, I added in a sprig of fresh rosemary.
This year, the holidays are going to be different. Maybe you’re stressed about trying to get last-minute gifts, or maybe you’re feeling a little down about not seeing all your friends and family.
